Training

PDMI works closely with our customers to develop training programs that encompass every aspect of each individual client’s unique requirements. Training is imperative during implementation, but it is also a critical ongoing process. PDMI ensures that the client is involved every step of the way, both during the initial design and development of their program and as we develop new methodologies throughout the relationship.

We do not set a time limit on training. We work with our clients to ensure their training needs are defined based on the complexity of the services we are providing as well as the number of people we need to train.

Site Visits

We can conduct extensive "classroom-style" training at your site or ours. Participants will receive hands-on instruction throughout our proprietary claims processing system. These on-site training sessions cover all aspects of the business, including (but not limited to) cardholder, claims, group, physician, pharmacy, drug, overrides and exceptions, benefits, direct member reimbursement (DMR), eligibility and prior authorization (PA).

Trainees will receive an electronic copy of PDMI’s Remote Login Manual, a proprietary guide for all real-time, on-line screens. This reference manual, equivalent to a screen-by-screen "how to" guide through our adjudication system, includes step-by-step instructions, screen snapshots and definitions for all items on the respective screens.

Remote Training

Teleconference training sessions can be recorded for use by those unable to participate in a scheduled meeting. Besides regularly scheduled conference calls, PDMI also offers two forms of remote training:

"Double Vision" technology allows us to train individuals or small groups – and no one has to leave their offices. As PDMI and the trainee(s) work simultaneously on identical screens, you can see what we are doing and we can see what you are doing. This technology is ideal for ongoing training sessions.

A "WebEx" meeting center via the Internet provides an environment for real-time communications. Results resemble the productivity of traditional face-to-face meetings. PDMI can share and annotate presentations, documents, whiteboards, applications, Web browsers or desktops; the client can remotely control applications running on the presenter’s computer for purposes of training, demonstrations, technical support and so on.
