    Responsible for developing and generating reports to meet the needs of both internal clients and external clients; Providing them with timely information that enables them to make various program- and policy-related decisions


    In the performance of their respective duties and responsibilities, all PDMI employees are expected to conform to the following:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.



                        SQL Development (80%)


    • Work with business representatives to gather report requirements
    • Develop and maintain stored procedures.
    • Development, analysis and testing of report results
    • Ad-hoc report development for business users when necessary
    • Work with the company's development team in building new dashboards and reports
    • Assist with complex SQL queries and SQL analytical functions


                      Subscription and User Access Requests (20%): 


    • Work with business to define user access permissions.
    • Completes user access forms
    • Tests user access permissions


                    Supervisory Responsibilities:


    This job has no supervisory responsibilities, although some training/coaching will apply to new Reporting Services Developers. 


    Competencies, Skill and Other Requirements:                                                                 


    • Strong T-SQL experience
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong verbal and written skills

    • Ability to perform multiple tasks/jobs daily
    • Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment, as well as being able to work well independently


      Education and/or Experience:    


    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
    • 2+ plus years of experience creating and maintaining stored procedures.
    • 2+ plus years of experience working with SSRS
    • Experience working with an ETL tools, preferably SSIS, SSAS
    • Knowledge of MS Office suite of products with a strong emphasis on Excel.
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2005 and 2008), Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio or Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS)
    • PBM experience a plus
